Sanguine I assumed so, was the only image I could find and would rather fit with the comments on social media along the lines of 'how can he be offside with his hand?' and 'there is no justification possible for calling that offside'.

Can't find a pic from a reputable source i.e one that didn't crop the penalty area of so we can see if the line is correct

At the time on tv it looked close and they were measuring from Fred's knee and Maguire's feet

I may very well be talking out of my arse tho!

Do I step in for the absolute tap in .......

Dale Johnson (@DaleJohnsonESPN) has been putting out some good examples of VAR lunacy over the last couple of days for anyone that is interested

Pepe the Horseman Bednarek's red card has been rescinded after an appeal.

Poor Mike Dean (not really, obviously)

Was asked to review the decision on the day - did and stuck with it - presumably the VAR thought it at least questionable
Panel of three had to be unanimous to overturn the red card - and they did
So that's 4 think it wasn't and 1 thinks it was.

Sorry, Mike, that would appear to be saying you're far too busy being the centre of attention to realise that you've got something wrong

Clearly, didn't influence the result but the goal difference maybe

Another disgraceful decision with Mike Dean at Fulham today

How much longer do we have to put up with this nonsense?

Absolute trash, I believe Dean and Mason were on duty at OT during the week and at Southampton vs Villa before that, awful decisions in both. give red cards to Dean and fatty Mason incompetent beyond belief.

Even Mitrovic (along with pretty much everyone in the football community) said it wasn’t a red :|

Yes his elbow caught him but it was an accidental colisiom and wtf was Mason going on about a "clenched fist" when a) his fist wasn't clenched and b) his hand was nowhere near Mitrovic?

I think/hope he knows that and he’s just attention seeking, rather than genuinely believing it’s a red card

It was a sh*t VAR/ref moment but also disgraceful stuff from Mitrovic too.

Lightly touched on the hooter and his legs collapse beneath him and he rolls around for a while, all to try and get an opponent sent off. What a bellend.

Why are players not spoken to about this? It ruins the game far more than bad VAR decisions IMO

Agreed

On a slight tangent, it seems that players are never booked anymore for diving, as opposed to before VAR - not sure if there’s any correlation there but IMO it seems to be more noticeable

Need to clamp down on cheating as it’s rather pathetic. Lamela against United is another that springs to mind similar to yesterday

And then for some reason gets credit for looking bemused when the red is brandished.
