Sanguine Rhian Brewster must be feeling sick at the moment. 25 games or so without scoring for Sheffield United, and 17 year old Ryan Jebbison goes and does it on his first start.

Wasn't Brewster your next big thing?

Was supposed to be, but a lack of opportunity at Liverpool has cost him big time. He's an Owen-type, albeit one who has a shot from distance too. But he's a right place, right time attacker who would feast off crosses and Thiago's passes at Liverpool - Sheffield United is an awful move for him, they just don't use their strikers that way. Swansea do, which is why he was successful there. Of course that says as much about Brewster as the clubs - he needs to improve other areas of his game.

Emphasises how few 'big things' really make it - that's Woodburn, Brewster, Solanke, all brilliant in age group teams but couldn't make the step up. Does look like Elliott might be one of the few that does.

Doesn't look too dissimilar to how Loader played for us - albeit Loader being at a much younger age - just looks lost on the pitch and has no physical imposition - very easy to mark out the game

It's almost like most managers know what they're doing when it comes to managing youth players and fans' recurrent calls for certain players are futile

Similar with CHO at Chelsea - Sarri got lambasted for not playing him but he's hardly kicked on at all since he's left

Only harder if you assume Leicester are going to smash Spurs.

All about tonight's game at Burnley. Hard to see Palace getting in the way on the final day as Anfield gets all misty-eyed for Hodgson.

I think the weekend was when the fcuk up was most likely - to win the game as they did will see them through.

Still think Chelsea will miss out, can see them fail to win at Villa whilst Leicester and Liverpool win their games.

Yeah was assuming best outcomes for everyone and that it may come down to goal difference

At the bare minimum that would mean LFC have +2 goals over Leicester (everyone wins 1-0)

Would love to see LFC battered but it at least makes it somewhat exciting on the last day

Tough final game for Leicester against Spurs as well

Tempted to put some money on Palace going down next season.

Hodgson is leaving. 16 players out of contract this summer. Eze now out injured until 2022.

Just seen Allardyce’s comments from the other day, almost sounds drunk in his interview, bitter and deranged

I don’t think he can talk about a lack of respect given his reputation with the England job and mocking Hodgson. Unpleasant bloke
