Football league 2018/19

by The Enfield Royal71 » 02 Aug 2019 19:46

Starts tonight.

Boro my tips to go up via the playoffs but I want luton to win.

I cant wait for this.

Very interested to see how bolton, bury, salford, lincoln, Accrington and of course FGR do this season.

My tips are:

West Brom to walk the league

Fgr in playoffs

Lincoln to surprise a few

Bury and Bolton to not make it till December :(

Coventry and Blackpool to go up

LOLeeds to choke obviously and Bielsa to go

Salford to walk the league

Newport to go up

Charlton to surpise a few

£££ to win the Prem

Derby to choke as usual in the Champ

Fleetwood to get mahoosive points deductions for disciplinary ‘indiscretions’ in Div 1

Orient to be promoted with £alford...FGR to choke the play-offs in Div 2

Torquay to be promoted from nl, Maidenhead to struggle to another last-game survival

Likewise Hungerford in the South

Its 2019/20, I would rather not relive last season thanks.

Derby are going to struggle to stay up in the Championship.

QPR will be the surprise package in the Championship

Ipswich will win League 1

Plymouth will win League 2

Luton playng very well for a team full of what I can describe as journeymen and misfits. Very good game so far and quite refreshing to see them back up here, despite them having the single worst ground ever

I want Torquay to come up with Maidenhead (one can dream :D )

Boooo to FGR Choking.

And i agree re derby without fat frank and their 2 loan players who carried an average team last season. They will go down!

:D only messing pal. Would be nice to see Torquay back in the Football League. They were always lower end and really crap when I was growing up and stayed that way ever since but somehow always managed to stay in the league until recent years. They have a very good manager which is the X Factor for them.

Excellent goalkeeper error too in this game. Starting the Championship season the right way with a complete goalkeeping howler. The Championship wouldn't be the same without them!

I do love a good goalkeeping howler. Step forward good old fgr for my favourite ever EFL howler (1.48)

I love the two failed flops on the ground as he tried to save it. Like a Salmon out of water.

I tell you what. I loved the womens world cup this summer.

Its made me appreciate how much I really missed the football league!

They are basically the same as Barnet. Always remember them surviving by last day miracles and just always ending up in the bottom 4 no matter what. Also EdgaROFL Davids.

Just turned it on. Luton in red and Boro in white is confusing.

The Enfield Royal71 Lincoln to surprise a few

The team to win L2 & L1 often do very well the next season and Incoln are heavily tipped to be one of the best teams in League 1 this season.

Are you suggesting they will surprise by being terrible?

I think they will do a Luton and come through the 2nd half of the season.

Tbh anybody over Sunderland and Pompey to go up and I'm fine.

I hate that rattle swinging pcunt in their shite stadium. And Portsmouth just depresses the pfuck out of me as a place.

Good management team too. A management team I'd quite like at Reading if it goes tits up with Gomes.
