Newcastle are such a banter club that it would be funny to see them drop out the PL again

I know we are meant to have a faux rivalry with Fulham but I can't help but to like them. Their playing style is good, they have a lot of decent players and the manager was a good player and a likeable bloke. They're giving it a real go and deserve to stay up.

Brighton's time is coming up, they can't hit a barn door and that could well cost them. From what I hear about the problems internally at Newcastle the players are revolting against Bruce which is the last thing you need in a relegation scrap with 10 games to go and I think they will go down.

Terrific ground and a good away day too.

Really? Obviously Brighton is a great day out but getting to and from the ground rather ruins things

I know Leon hates Fulham because of where he lives. For me in order of preference, it's

Brentford
Fulham
QPR
Chelsea

I am pleased the final relegation spot is looking tight and, as I said before, I would like Brighton to take it.

Quite like Fulham (and Newcastle).

Wigan have dragged themselves out of the relegation zone. Amazing effort from them, they should have been dead and buried by now.

Norwich on an amazing run of 9 straight wins. Was only a few weeks ago where they had a slight wobble and looked like they genuniely might blow it.

They are now on 82 points with 9 games still left to play. Over the the last 10 seasons the average points needed to go up automatically was 84

Bolton’s recent record really is remarkable! Picked up 32 points from the last 36 available in the league and have risen from somewhere amongst lower mid table to one point off the automatics in just the space of a couple of months!

very exciting. Have to say these two are far from being my least favourite in the Premiership (sorry Leon). But it looks like one of them is fcked.

Cannot understand how Steve Bruce is still in his job. They need a new manger bounce asap.

Bookies have Newcastle favourite to be relegated (apart from SHU and WBA of course) at 8/11 with Fulham at 5/4 and the next being 20/1 (Burnley)

Newcastle are in dire form but have had important players absent in recent weeks with C.Wilson, Almiron, and ASM all missing, seems like all three will be available after the break which will be a huge boost. Fulham can't seem to convert draws into wins which will be their major downfall if they're relegated, they have 11 draws (joint highest in the league - along with Brighton)

Think the only way Newcastle will survive is if they change manager. But Ashley doesn't seem to be in any hurry to do that.

Just four points off top with a game in hand. Decided to have a few quid on them to win the league at 4/1, so sure they'll start to tail off now...

Made some decent signings over the summer, with Doyle a top league 2 striker so I also thought they’d be up there - shades of our 11/12 season although they started their good run earlier

Will be all about how they react to a defeat, can work either way
