When is the draw that we get involved in? I love the FA Cup. Always look forward to it. I'd love us to play a full stength side and really go for it but it wont happen this season, it's not the Coppell way. Can't argue really either.

1:30pm on the Monday following 2nd round weekend - so that'll be Monday 01/12/08.

Our FA Cup involvement this year starts (and most probably will end) on the weekend of Saturday 03/01/09.

Thanks gr8 m8.

Dissapointed not see that snazzy jumper of yours again at QPR. I hope you'll make amends tomorrow.

Four Of Clubs
Thanks for the tips, I'll get some money on 2 of the three, or might even put on a treble. Depends how flush I'm feeling when in the bookies!

... just don't come looking for me if it goes wrong - though I can give you my PayPal details if you win big!

Do not wory, I only gamble what I can afford to lose, like any sensible gambler. As I lose more than most it is a good job I'm sensible about it!

Alan Partridge Mansfield away at Chesterfield??!!! NAY CHANCE.

Oops - you're probably right there - just noticed what they did to Exeter w/e before last and the way the Stags have gone of late, they aren't even an 'outside' outside chance - lost five in a row since they got done at home by Woking late Sept!

My old man was at Plainmoor saturday, Mansfield didn't muster a shot on target in 90mins and were thoroughly done over by the Mighty Gulls. victim number 12 of the 13 match unbeaten run :D

I fancy AFC Wimbers to turn Wycombe over or at least get a replay.

Histon isn't a bad shout although I think Swindon will squeeze by them

Kettering v Lincoln a few weeks ago would have agreed but Lincoln have won 5 on the trot and Kettering got beat at home by Weymouth last week who are DUMP.

I'd go for Harlow to at least draw with Macclesfield, Wimbeldon to do the same with Wycombe, I also fancy Ebbsfleet to do the same away at an awful Crewe side. Also Team Bath to beat FGR on Sunday.

Hard to see where the shocks will come this year although there will certainly be some. Long as Torquay get through, I would love to say Exeter would get beat at 'Curzon Ashton' which sounds a bit like a Somerset cider.

mmmmmmmmmm - shows what I know about Conference sides  - still big grins all round for Histon and Curzon Ashton .. and at least Kettering didn't get beat by the Imps ...

.. would not have expected Alty to get a draw @ Luton nor Droylesden @ Darlo & Telford held Sarfend.

Spose the biggest shock was Blyth beating Shrewsbury and maybe Port Vale winning at 'uddersfield?

Can see Grays putting Carlisle out in the replay at their place too?

... PS see our 'pals' from the Kassam have got to do it all again @ Dorchester. :P

Gutted about Exeter getting knocked out at this stage but fair play to their opponents.

Yesterday, absolutely genius.

Ding 3-0, N Hunt won me another £25
The Mighty gulls get through to the 2nd round while making it 14 games unbeaten
and Exeter lost to a team that sounds like a cider.

Brilliant.

Not all that much of a surprise tbf, Histon 4th in the Conference and as shown by recent years there isn't a lot of difference between the top of the Conf and League 2. Swindon are a real Jekyl and Hyde team and a lot of their fans want their awful manager Malpas out, poor appointment in the 1st place tbf.

Perhaps not but still brightened up a dull and dreary Monday morning at work

I see the GuLOLLOLs have a nice easy draw in the 2nd round AP - Reading v Torquay in the 3rd Round perhaps?

No easy games!! Fingers crossed it's Dorchester because that would mean Kevin Hill returning to Plainmoor. If they get through then Reading v Torquay would be brilliant tbf. It could be an absolute bottleneck of a smashing but get them a few pennies nonetheless.

aldershots "a team" are currently plotting in their favoured watering hole how best to run millwall should they come through the impending replay.....the legs of the ex cold blow lane boys must be getting a tad trembly.......
