Apparently there was going to be a pitch inspection at 08:30 this AM and the game is scheduled to go ahead @ 13:30 this afternoon. :?

According to the Ayr Utd site - Lochee have declared an inspection is unnecessary and the game will go ahead.

Some poor fellah from Ayr has been posting on the NL Forum for weeks about this game - not sure he can get time off work to go now!

It's about a three hour drive - 130 odd miles  or for anyone thinking of going to the game from around here - you'd have had to have left at 06:30 this AM! :P

UPDATE - and wouldn't you just know it - the game finished 1-1.
'Junior' side Lochee equalized in the 86th minute!!
Needs a replay - so at least the chappie from Ayr will get to see his team play in the cup.

.....intrigued to know what kind of game the Lochee right back 'KROBOT' had
... mind you Ayr had a player named 'BORRIS' - very apt bearing in mind the weather up there...
