The death of Jimmy Neighbour announced this morning brought a memoury of a reserve game at Elm Park in the early seventies against Spurs. There must have been over a thousand to watch this match so it must have had something riding on it.Anyway ,big Percy was running down the right wing infront of the south bank when Neighbour smashed into him and knocked poor Percy Freeman out and Jimmy was sent off.Freeman was laid out a good while and I think he was stretchered off. What I want to know is ,was anyone on here at that game and recall the incident and why the big attendance for a reserve game?Sad day for Neighbours family,he was only in his late fifties,no age at all
