First time I saw him I thought he looked trouble...

White man with dreadlocks.... do me a favour.

Has a nightclub assault charge pending and now put Steven Taylor in hospital, all in the space of 3 months. Trouble I say, Trouble with a capital "T"...

I thought he was the one with the floppy hair and rather too well defined cheekbones. :|

Will be interesting to see how Houghton and his group of 'senior pros' respond.

Newcastle is fast becoming a home for thugs - Barton, Nolan and now Carroll.

Great player though, so sure he'll get away with it.

Flowing locks have replaced the braids.

Is he a gr8 player really though? Or just an average striker playing in a poor league?

Work connection of mine's son went to school with him in Gateshead and he is a bit of a lad apparently.

Seeing him later in the week so will quiz him a bit further. He doesn't rate him as a player particularly but is happy if he does the business this season and then gets moved back to the bench next season when they get back up. Thinks he looks decent enough at Champ level but from his cameo appearances looks of limited ability at top level. Tend to agree with that from what I've seen.

He did also say that his second touch is usally a tackle!

Nolan? What did he do?

Also SSN reporting that Carroll's had an op on his hand, and that there were messages on Taylor's phone from Bridge's...sorry Carroll's...ex

I think he looks a decent prospect. Don't forget he's still only a raw 20/21 year old.

He has the air of the Duncan Fergusons about him, and he's going to be one of those that centre halfs learn to hate marking. Not sure he'll ever cut it at the upper levels of the Premiership though.

Looks a beast of a young man though, and not one to mess with by the sounds of it.

Yeah I think he's the real deal. Massive, strong, good in the air. Very on the ball too.

Think he'll end up a decent Prem striker in and around the the England squad.

I rate carroll. I didn't when he first came on the scene but if anyone has seen the variety of goals he's been scoring recently its hard not to be impressed. He's developed a lot this season and if he keeps that same rate of development up and gets to start in the prem, he's an obvious alternative to the crouch's and carlton cole's for England.

Even in a season where they're doing well they still manage to have some sort of upset.

He's had a good start to the season, if he keeps it up he'll be making the step up to the full England squad soon.

If Carroll plays for England then I'm going to buy an Argentina shirt and get "homo" printed on the back.

He's the big bully of a number 9 we've been missing since Shearer retired, or at least he could be if he keeps up this progress/form.

Why would you have a problem with that?

He's not a big bully; he's a donkey. All I can say is LOL@ any team that concedes to him.
