Yeh, also heard that he's off to QPR. Bust up with McKay apparently.

Tokyo Sex Whale Esteban Granero is about to sign for QPR - think I read it was £9m but only scoured the article.

soggy biscuit Joey Barton joins Marseille on a 12 month loan deal with an option to buy him next summer. Half of his £70,000 a week wages will be paid for by QPR during the loan period

Lol at paying someone nearly £2M to not play for you

Better than paying him £4m for not playing.

leww_rfc Could it be Cardiffs year? Good addition in Maynard. Added with Bellamy, Noone, Connolly, Helguson.

Don't be silly, they'll mess up someway or another

WCBAP don't you think? They are spending an awful lot of dosh.

Maybe not this year or next year, but I think chickens might be roosting over Loftus Road some time in the next few years.

Spent less in transfer fees than Reading, let go 15 players, wages will be quite big, but Sky money is huge next season, Tony Fernandes is a succesful business, his airline started from 1 plane, quote me, we will not be another Portsmouth

Not sure how you work that one out. This fee is reportedly £9m, Diakite £4m, Ji-Sung Park £2.5m....

Park was 2 and we've yet to pay anything for Diakite, as there is a games clause.

Granero is undisclosed, on a technicality etc.. Still a great signing, but a lot of expenditure is being offset, admittedly not all, but we have Fernandes and Mittal to offset some with their loose change.

Sky money is huge, especially the higher up the league you get

If QPR don't stay up they are going to be lumbered with a huge wage bill and many older players with little resale value. I've got nothing against QPR (appart from them having the temerity to wear blue and white hoops :) ) but it seems like a high risk gamble this policy of theirs. Good luck to them.

Certainly making things exciting with these signings!

Granero "I love the passion of the English fans and from what I know QPR supporters are amongst the very best".

So Cesar thinks they'll be challenging for a Champions League place, and Granero thinks he'll be playing in front of some of the best fans in England. Who's telling them this shit?!
