Watford are signing a few more players from Udinese on a mixture of loans and free transfers, some of the players are very highly rated.

I wonder what would happen if another club matched the free transfer offer? I assume they couldn't turn it down if it matched an already accepted deal.

Obviously the Pozzo family are doing nothing against the rules but for some reason it just doesn't seem right.

Good question but presume it would come down to wages - The Pozzos/Udinese will be paying some of the wages I would have thought.

Looks like we are going to surprise everyone and sign a non-Udinese player.

Good player with a bit of a fitness issue. Will get you goals for sure. Watford will definitely be there or thereabouts next season, as well as other cliches too.

Jonjo Shelvey to Swansea for £6m. Good business for both sides there. He looked pretty decent in the first half of last season for Liverpool, very comfortable on the ball, but £6m to Liverpool for a fringe player is useful cash for them.

Feel Wigan have made some canny signings for the Championship in recent weeks; Perch, McCann, Crainey are all solid pros and capable at this level. Rogne from Celtic is a decent signing as well, watched him at the Euro U-21s and he has quality.

The selling club can accept or refuse bids from whomever they wish.
