Four Of Clubs erstwhile 'Royals Legend :? ' Michael Meaker was on the bench for Yate - never looked remotely interested

Some things never change eh? Useless.

Interesting to note from FoC's (p)review that neither Shrivenham or Reading Town played on Saturday so unless Shrivenham played in some local county cup competition surely it would have been better for them to play each other then than Reading Town make the journey down there this Wednesday evening?

Also Maidenhead got beat again, think they're really up against it now to beat relegation.

RTFC were due to travel down to Hereford to play Pegasus Jrs but this game was postponed - to late April I think - because the Supplementary Cup Tie v Finchampstead took precedence.
As far as I could tell Shrivvy were without a game - though they were possibly due to play Fairford - who were similarly engaged in a re-arranged Cup tie.
Saw Shrivvy get dismantled 1-6 by leaders Ardley last Wednesday - this isn't a game RTFC should lose. :?

Also Maidenhead got beat again, think they're really up against it now to beat relegation.

Yup sinking ever further into oblivion now - they still have two games in hand on Bps Stortford and Thurrock but are 6 & 3 points behind them respectively - so need points fast.
Can't see much hope for the Magpies this Tuesday though; they host Farnborough who are busy pursuing Braintree for top spot - though 7 points is a lot to make up over 10 games.

I got down to ISTH1S Whitehawk 0-1 Walton & Hersham: nice setting cut into the hills just east of Brighton. Indeed our route there took us through Falmer and right past the new B&H Stadium.Game was high on NL quality but low on thrills. W&H were too streetwise for their hosts and kept them at bay without too much trouble.

OMG - Andover won tonight. First points in months!

Strange week for North Leigh: 3 away games in a week, 2 cracking wins at Bideford and Sholing and an 8-0 defeat at Frome sandwiched in between.

Farnborough go 4 points behind Braintree after a 3-0 win at Maidenhead last night. Braintree are on a bit of a poor run of form at the moment but I fully expect them to win away tonight at a poor Lewes side. Even if Farnborough don't manage to overtake Braintree, 2nd and a playoff spot in their first season in the division would be a fantastic achievement and would also secure the playoff final at the Rushmoor should they get that far.

Come on you Yellows!

The door may be opening for Farnborough. Was quite impressed by what they had done to their ground when we visited in pre-season so hopefully they would be allowed up should they get promotion.

I actually saw them draw with last-placed St Albans on Saturday, and it wasn't in any way flattering to St Albans. I'm not surprised they lost tonight.

Starting to look good for Farnborough, but I've heard rumours that the money has long since run out at the club, and even if they do go up, "survival" could mean rather more than trying to finish above 22nd.

You'd have thought a club forced to fold due to spending above your means might have learnt some lessons. The money they were throwing around last season was ridiculous. I imagine it's the same this season.

Went and watched Diddy on Tuesday they were pretty dump, Hemel got a couple of lads i recognised and were quite handy. They've got at least 3 ex Windsor players including the superbly named Fiston Manuella playing there.

I haven't seen the team sheet for Hemel v Didcot but in the last couple of weeks the following ex Windsor players have been starters:

Dave Pearce
Fiston Manuella
Sam Wadieh
Ryan Parsons
Jake Parsons
Scott Thomas
