Manchester City's Abdisalam Ibrahim is on the radars of Swansea, Reading and QPR as the winter transfer window looms.

Abdisalem Ibrahim is hoping to secure a permanent move away from Manchester City during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old midfielder was drafted into City's academy system back in 2007.

Since then, all of his senior first team experience has come away from the Etihad Stadium.

Several loan spells have been taken in, including two in as many years at Stromsgodset.

The Norwegian champions are among those hoping City can be tempted into a deal, and Ibrahim would welcome the opportunity to make a fresh start after enduring a frustrating time in England.

He told TV2: "When I joined City they were investing in young players and did not have much money.

"I feel sorry for the young players who join City now because they will never get to play.

"If the club let me leave, I will do that. It is not a matter of money, I need to find a place where I am happy.

"I want to go somewhere I can stay for a long time and build up my career."
