If he wants to leave to improve his chances of getting in the World Cup squad then surely he has to move to the Premier League?

Yeah i agree, But i reckon he's too much of a punt for a bigger premiership team to take him on. SPL is a poor league as we all know..

Hopefully, if Alex M stays, England scouts at the MadStad will be a regular occurence next season. Reading would, therefore, be a good choice for anyone wanting to improve their chances of impressing said scouts.
