Available on a free.

I'd take the guy back. Just for the knees to the skull.

Why the hatred for Stephen Hunt? He did an awful lot of good things for both the club and the local community during the time he was with us. It was him who got Noel Hunt involved with all of the community work.

Shit player, no thanks...there's a reason he's on course to break relegation records.

IMHO, Stephen Hunt typifies everything that is wrong with British football. Limited skill and ability disguised by lots of running around. Plus the way he prostituted himself to anyone in the Prem who would have him showed a complete disregard to the club and supporters. You don't sign someone because they do lots of work in and around the community. If you wanted that then recruit a social worker instead.

Is that reason that Nigel Quashie retired?

If he promises to give 110% and not be paid ,to make up for the season´s money he conned out of us before he left. He showed no loyalty to Reading . SSC saved his career the punk was going sign for Bradford when SSC called him and subsequently signed him.

As several others mentioned he is/was a player with limited ability, lots of huff and puff, all his subsequent success he owes to RFC and SSC.

Ungrateful git.

Does he hold the record with 4 relegations in 4 seasons?

No thanks, he can sign for Barnsley who look pretty certain to be relegated, if he goes there that will make it certain.

A trier who did well for us but got above himself and isn't a patch on what we've got.

Really? I thought he was a 'runs around looking at his feet and butchers opportunities left, right and centre' type player. Not even vaguely a 'great' one.

The mentality of Reading fans never ceases to amaze me. Shades of Dylan Kerr winning the same in 93/94 after Lord Quinn of Nantwich banged in 40 the same season. Out of curiosity Brenders, what was the reason the pikey hobbit won it? Running around a lot???
