paultheroyal Just spent my £120 I won at the half time quiz the other week and can confirm that Adkins car is in the car park. Now... It might be left there in readiness for overnight stay in Brighton... Or he is having afternoon tea with Sir John. Just saying!

The fact that he is rated so highly in the odds given those managers without a club is a feather in his cap, and ours. If he decides not to go, then given the shite circumstances he finds himself currently in, it could be that he sees a real future here, and remember he knows more behind the scenes than the vast majority of us. I have no doubt staying would also endear him to more fans, and a cynic could argue that maybe this could have been a PR exercise from the start. There is a chance that new ownership and even just mild investment could rejuvenate a squad of little difference that were essentially performing better in the Prem last year.
