Richard Dunne

A work colleague and HNA :?: stalwart has reliably informed me that Richard Dunne was at the stadium yesterday, surplus to requirements at QPR.

But still would be a good asset in terms of experience and can marshall a defence well. If we can get him for reasonable wages, then I'd take a punt for a year. No longer than that.

It's merely industrial espionage, trying to sneak a preview of our kit next year so our hoops don't clash too closely with the fakes

Well considering how rubbish our defence was and that QPR r8ed him highly in a season where they went up, I'd have him

Better than Morrison, so in that respect it's a yes from me. Sending out the wrong signal to Hector though?

Team > individual. Anyone who went to qpr in the PL is bad news.

Rubbish all season MoM in the playoff final. Still wouldn't want him though.

I think we could do with an old hand, someone who has been there and done it. Not sure if Dunne is that man but to me the 4 centre backs we have are not quite enough. All have quite a bit to prove....

even if dunne never played a game, and was simply there to teach our young CBs how to do the job during training it would be worth it

More likely to have been at the stadium to begin talks with representatives of Police United.

Hmmmm I seem to remember a few saying roughly the same about Andy Griffin, then around a year or so later half the East Stand were singing Griffin for Ingerland ....

I would agree if he came here just to coach the defenders, but I would of thought he would want a fair whack in wages as a player at a time when we're trying to bring them down.

Long past his best, yet better than anything we currently have in that position. Sad, but true.
