Rumour - HRK

by Sutekh » 02 Jul 2015 13:42

I know it's the FLW website, so is probably about as accurate as an England penalty, but though I'd report the rumour anyway....

Sky Bet League One side Wigan Athletic are closing in on a deal to sign Reading winger Hal Robson-Kanu, according to Vital Wigan.

Robson-Kanu, 26, is a Reading academy product and has only had two spells away from the club at Southend United and Swindon Town, and has made 169 appearances in his Royals career.

HRK’s an international for Wales, where frustration grows over his fantastic performances for his country due to his poor form with his club.

Despite playing an integral part in Reading’s FA Cup run to Wembley last season, but his form in the league was less than adequate.

Cardiff City and Wolves were also after his signature, but a £2.5 million price tag scared them off.

They see ‘HRK’ as their ideal replacement for James McClean, who completed a move to West Bromwich Albion last week.

Reading wanting £2.5m is a bit  though

He should though, he's donkeys bollocks

The fact we want 2.5m (If reports are to be believed) shows we're in a position of strength and aren't desperate for cash because realistically, if I was the club with the wages he's on, would get rid for free. He's shit.

If Hammond sells a donkey to Wigan who have just been relegated for £2.5million I will start to believe he was sent from the heavens

That's atrociously written. HRK keeps banging on about wanting to play in the PL he's hardly going to step down away from it.

What Ian Royal said. Even if this story isn't bollocks (but it is) and we accept said hypothetical bid, premier league wonderkid HRK  will never accept a drop down.

This rumour started because an official at Wigan started following HRK on Twitter. That website has then put 2 & 2 together and come up with 547.

We can dream though.

Dropping to L1?

Hull is unlikely. Andre Gray is Hull's first choice but Bruce has been told they need to get rid of strikers like Jelavic before any come in

No, they're the only Champ side with a dressing room big enough for his ego.
