Calm down to a panic, he hasn't left yet.

That went over your head then!

Fair play to Davies. After Celtic go out of Europe his job is pretty much done for the next 8 months and he'll still be getting paid.

I doubt the money had anything to do with it ! a pairing that lost their way at Liverpool so should be interesting ..

Have to feel for Brian, losing an assistant manager, director of football, and first team coach in the space of 6 months.

Quite honestly, I do not know what all the fuss is about. I did not see a massive improvement in our performances after Davies joined and TBH we were gash for the last 7 games.
The team did not play with any conviction, and their motivation levels were questionable at the best of times. I believe that is primarily down to the coaching. Goodbye Chris Davies and good luck with 'Big watch geezer' in the green hoops. We won't miss you.

Pretty much my thoughts too.

Whilst we can only assume that we won't miss him....we don't know what the alternative might be just yet......this could be a kind cut for the club.

So he's buggered off after 6 months to join his best buddy at a big club in a one horse league. He was always going to leave the moment Rogers got another job

No big deal

Davies added: “Celtic is huge club with such a special place in world football.

It is a great honour and a proud moment for me to be named assistant manager.

“I saw the scenes at Celtic Park on Monday and there are not many clubs or fans in the world who could have put on such a show.

“We know what Celtic fans bring to the club and we want to reward our fans every week with entertaining football that gets results.

“I have worked with Brendan over a number of years, as a player and a coach, and it will be fantastic to team up with him again. I know all about his affection for Celtic and his appetite for taking on this great job.

“I am looking forward to meeting all the players and staff and working with them to give the supporters a team to be proud of.”

Looking forward alright. Celtic this and Celtic that. Not even one reference to us as a football club. See ya.
