genome I feel like you have to be a particularly miserable sod not to be excited by this.

Even Lord CKS is happy.

Ian's been awfully quiet today.

That Tweet from the club is great.

You can read too much in to this, but both the signing and the amusing way it was announced seem like an attempt to get the fans back on side.

Long may not end up contributing that much if Joao remains the main striker, but every little thing which can try and bring back some good feeling around the club is a positive step forwards.

Waves.

It's all very nice, and good marketing by the club, and most people will be happy with the signing, so morale boost etc. I just don’t think it’s a good one. But then I thought Carroll would be a terrible signing and he was ok.

Just hang on a second.

Ian, are you feeling ok? It sounds like you just admitted you got something wrong and are open to being wrong about something else?

What is the world coming it.

Happens most of the time I'm actually wrong hendo.

It's everyone else who can't admit they're wrong / I'm right.

We need clarity here. Are you seriously suggesting Ian may have admitted to have been wrong about something? He is the leading authority on everything. This cannot possibly be true.
