Presuming they can't get Grigg off of Wigan.

He's out injured isn't he? Hope so if it means getting rid of McNulty. They can have a few others whilst they are at it.

O'Shea for a start!

Can you hurry up and gracefully accept the Sexiest Ever Reading player award? Nobody can move on until you do.

Liam Kelly being told to leave on loan, according to JLo

Moving down a league and getting regular game time would be better for him than being on the fringes of the squad, that's for sure.

Could be off to Bristol rovers.

Shame, I think he's as good a player as Lewis baker and likely to be on far less money.

Makes sense for himto go and get 20 games straight and come back a more confident player next season.
Hard to see how he is a better player than Baker though, Baker has a better pedigree all round.
Kelly can certainly be a very good player at this level but someth8ng has not quite been right with him for a while.

I think you may be looking through your "one of our own" glasses there.

Kelly is definitely a decent player at this level but appears to have lost his way. Whether he has fallen in to the trap of thinking he's "made it" or what I don't know. It makes total sense to send him out and see if he can cut it elsewhere. If he does really well, he comes back revitalised for the next season - if he does Ok then we may find a L1 willing to take him off our hands.

yep, sure there will be plenty of L1 teams happy to give him a go.

Not good enough for us currently, but if we do go down, then it would be useful to have him back available again for us

Perhaps Plymouth Argyle?

The occassional 20 minutes off the bench in a Championship relegation scrap is not the place to be trying to regain your confidence or form.

Better to drop a level below what you're capable of for 4 months and view it as a fresh start in the short term.

Maybe I am, i thought he'd done ok this year in a terrible team and no settled midfield though. Seen nothing of baker that suggests he's cut out for the championship either. Hopefully I'm wrong

Kelly arrived on the scene with huge promise and potential. Hasn't kicked on. Opposition managers have identified his weaknesses and know to target them.

Nah, its a great move for him. Half a season at a good level will do him a world of good. Should be ok without him

I want him in our team. Should be playing with Liam Moore.

This.

Too soon to have him as a regular back up - better for him to liekly start at a lower level. Appears main back-up will be Blackett with McIntyre, McShane and O'Shea if needed.

Meyler just tweeted this. Looks like him and McNulty are off.

McNulty more or less just confirmed it on Twitter in a response to Dave Meyler.
