Can't say I've seen much of him in the last couple of years, but used to be a big fan. Should think wages would be a problem.

Would be very surprised tbh

Didn’t play a huge amount last year and knocking on now. Good player on his prime and plenty of experience

He was a good player but seemed to be injured a lot last season-with our injury history I would suggest that we just can't take the risk.

Not sure on this one but his initiation song should be sung well.

Not at that age and under these circumstances. Can't imagine there is a queue of people for a 33 year old with significant injury problems. Doesn't really fit the mould of successful Reading signings so can't see it happening more so for that reason.

33. Not too old. Can still play a significant part on and off the pitch.

Definite feel of the Meyler / O'Shea type signing.

Don't see the point in signing someone on the way down for a year when we need to be building for the future and nurturing talent.

Didn't exactly have oodles of experience in Rino and Baker and they were the best midfield pair we've had in a while.

it'll be the end if he ever comes to this crystal ship but I have no doubt he'd light the fire of some

Playing alongside Sam Smith will be music to my ears if only we could Chris Martin and Tom Jones back we'd be laughing
