Stranded
Hound CF, who has been on the money recently, thinks McNulty is off to SAFC.

However scanning their local news, they think the striker under question isn't him

As of about 15 mins ago the Sunderland Echo are reporting that they are closing on McNulty.

Frankly if they were closing in’ 15 mins ago by now I would have expected us to have banked the cheque and have him in ataxi to the airport.

He will score a bucket load for them

I am dissapointed hes not being given the chance, for me Baldock needs to be the one out of the door not McNulty

I'm not unhappy with the loan. If he scores a shit load then he is still our player. If he flops, then Hibs would prob still take him again

Easier said than done though, McNulty is probably on a much lower wage than Baldock and is coming off the back of a decent goal scoring run, so there would be a lot more interest in him.

Man Reading fans on Twitter are oxf*rd abysmal, one of them has decided McNulty is the laziest player he has ever seen, a bunch more celebrating his departure.

What exactly did he do wrong to gain so much ire? I always felt that it just didn't work out.

Gunter and Macleary too ... both of those are on mega wages and if they are not playing then it's costing us a lot of money to have them on our books.

Gunter could still contribute to a the first team and I do not understand the dislike for the guy. He's not passed it at 30 either and we aren't exactly stacked with top level right backs. One injury then boom.. Baldock I still think could do a job at this level too although I wouldn't hate to see him leave due to silly wages.

Popa, McCleary and Meyler absolutely get rid and will contribute nothing.

One Injury at right back and Morrison, or Howe, or Watson step in. We are better covered there than anywhere ! While I agree Gunter would absolutely stilldo a more than adequate job he is too expensive as a backup.

Good luck to him. Probably could have been a good player for us at a different time but was never going to fit into the way Gomes wants to play. Hope he scorers a lot of goals and then we can sell him next summer.

It’s twitter. Can’t expect anything else

He didn’t do a great deal wrong, just didn’t fit and probably wasn’t quite up to it. Seems a decent enough chap, hope it works out at SAFC for him

I don't think people should be writing off McCleary. At this rate he will be on the bench and I wouldn't have a massive issue with that.

Surprised Gunter is still here. Must be wage related as he’s suit a lower end Champ club or top end L1.

Meyler apparently has lots of interest in L2 but is said to be holding out for L1.

Think both will be gone before deadline day.

Twitter shows the depth of humanity. I bet if you met these people they'd be perfectly decent, partly because they put all their anger and nastiness into childish tweets.
