STEVE COPPELL

I understand that Steve Coppell will be a guest at the Preston game this season.
Could it be that he could become the new Director of Football?

It would certainly get the supporters back on side. Even if he came back as an "advisor" or something would be a boost.

Yeah the guy who was well known for hatting dealing with agents, chairmen, ceo’s Etc is defo gonna come back as DOF.

Probably should have given him the manager’s job. But I really don’t think he’d want or need the hassle.

You mean the guy who has done more than one DoF style job since leaving us?

Offer a 4 day week and membership at Wentworth and I’m sure something could be worked out.

Did Marcus bring any of his guns, because there were quite a few occasions where PNE players appeared to have been shot from the stands.

It was great listening to the BBCRB interview after the game. I was explaining to jnr leon II who he was in the car. Great keeper. Awesome times.

& really nice bloke. At the time, we both had the same type of car, looked after by a specialist not a million miles from Aldermaston Wharf. Family man, and could enthuse over a range of subjects. Just a pain in the ar5e to talk to, if the sun was behind him, as he was tall-ish :D
