Being reported two teams have made offers in excess of £5m for him, laughable. :D

I would imagine it would have to be at least £10m for us to even acknowledge

I can’t see there being time for Olise to sign for someone else at this late stage. The window closes at 5pm on Friday and agreeing a transfer fee appears very unlikely any time soon let alone sorting out the contract.

Chronicle reports both £5m+ offers have been turned down flat stating the club see Olise as a key part of the first team. And given Moore and Swift are still here then Olise won’t be going anywhere with paltry offers like that. Of course if Mr Olise were to put in a transfer request then things might change.

Overall though, given he’s playing regularly in a side that now looks like it may threaten at the top end of the Championship, I hardly think bench warming or being dumped back in someone else’s academy is going to help his development.

Having said all that though. £10m down plus a loan back for the season might be attractive to some.

You'd be amazed how quickly a deal can go through if all parties want it to.

It’s as if Zip had missed every transfer deadline day there has ever been....

We will see but most deals involving serious sums of money take an age to get sorted out.

I think the 5 words "if all parties want it" are doing a lot of heavy lifting. We are not remotely interested in doing the deal and so I imagine it's stupid money or piss off.

Exactly. We will demand a big transfer fee and rightly so. Can’t see it happening.

He is contracted until Summer 2022 so there is no pressure to sell. If it's not 8 figures, it's not worth discussing

Totally agree, when you see the price medicre players are going for these days anything less than £10m should be laughed out the door, he`s 18 with tons of potential. after this full season he could be worth £20m , who knows?

So we either have to get him signed up again or find ourselves in the situation next summer whereby we either have to sell him for 5m or risk him walking away in 22.

Well if he helps us to promotion then it won’t really matter will it.

I'd take the risk of a good season and disappointing £5m whilst trying to get him to extend over £15m and losing him now.

If we won't sell Swift or Moore for millions we shouldn't even think about Olise.

All the top teams after him. Going to be very tough to keep him even if we do go up https://twitter.com/talkreading/status/ ... 15138?s=21

Should be able to sell him for a lot if all the top teams are interested. I'd love him to continue his progression here but if we end up talking stupid money, that's a very quick way out of our current financial issues and also allow strengthening of the team as a whole.

So what do we all think would be a fair price now that every footballing super power has identified him as the next best thing!!! and how does this affect the young lads ability to cope with all the hype and pressure of being the next superstar.

I reckon 25 million would be a fair price with future add ons in place if we were to sell in January. However, if we were to wait another season and try to reap the benefits then who knows? in a bidding war we could get much more.

How much did that Bellingham lad go to Dortmund for?
