Would seem odd as he’s in contract, and at Derby who are also struggling for players !

Derby fans rate him and want him starting. Under contract for three more years. Not sure how we could afford him.

Yeah someone must be off for us to be in for Sibley, would guess Swift. Of all the positions we need players for midfield is the last one I would pick.

Yes please! Can't see Derby letting him go though, especially to a potential relegation rival. Even if we lost Swift.

Other rumoured names on the Tweet:

Alen Halilovic and James Garner

Though someone implied that we have a long list of targets and these are just a few of the names on the list.

Also James Garner (Loan I assume) and Alen Halilovic (Free transfer)

Sibley may well be a season long loan with an obligation to buy, We are likely to be in a stronger position next summer as we have slashed the wage bill the last 2 years and sold Olise this year. Ironically Derby may loan him to us to Joe free a space up to sign Baldock as they are very limited up front with Kazim Richards as there only real option.

James Garner - Is low risk and Manchester United will likely cover a lot of his wages (He is also out of contract next summer so we could sign him permanently then.) Also good experience in this league and plays the same position as Laurent.
Sibley- John Swift but a younger version and slightly rough diamond same as Swift when he signed.
Alen Halilovic - has played a lot of games accross europe at various different teams, from what I gather technically gifted player still quite young and could play anywhere behind the striker LAM, CAM and RAM.

If we sign Harris aswell This actually could be a good summers transfer market and whisper it but we might even be competitive.

I’d be amazed if we don’t have several lists, depending on when and to what extent restrictions are lifted.

Nixon is a journalist and does not know everything Eddie does genuinely have links to the club and has got everything spot on for the last 2 years. He is very careful about what he does and doesn't say aswell.

Is Paunos intention to go with a narrow 4-2-3-1?
Swift central, right footed Ovie on the left and one of the left footed Sibley or Halilovic on the right?

Would think out of the three, the only realistic one is Halilovic. James Garner would be class, but imagine he's got his pick of clubs, so shouldn't think he'd choose the one that's a complete mess. Absolutely no logic at all in Derby letting Sibley go out on loan, so that's surely complete bollocks.

Would Garner have a connection with Quentin Fortune from the U23s at Man Utd?

Former captain, Paul McShane whispering sweet nothings in his ear?
