Weymouth Royal
tidus_mi2 I wonder if, considering his time at Inter, he is more used to the Italian Leagues and the style of play.

A slower pace definitely works for him. Plus he never looked fully fit here. If we get anything for him at all that's bloody amazing.

Corrected for you.

Another goal for Puscas, but Pisa only draw at Perugia, and are in 5th, 3 points off 2nd place, with an inferior goal difference. Four games left.

Disappointing, but if he can carry on scoring, somebody over there might put in an offer.

5 goals in 14 apps, hardly pulling up trees but better than he did here.

I briefly switched onto the game and saw him score - well taken goal ...

1 in 3 is pretty much expectation for a striker. About 15 a season.

Anything better is very good. Anything worse disappointing.

So based on those numbers he's on target.

Would be an ideal scenario for Pia to go up really, it seems as if we've got quite a good deal for him with the price they are willing to pay. The last thing we want is him coming back in the summer just to try and offload him again.

Not to say he would be a bad player for us again, he just needs playing in the correct system, but his wages are too high for what we need next season.

New manager, new start. Getting goals again.

Use him wisely and he'll do ok. Not necessarily fire us up the table or score 20. But 14/15/16 is in his wheel house if used correctly.

Pisa have the option to buy regardless of promotion don't they? If I remember correctly it was €5m automatically if they go up but if they go down they have the option to buy for €2.5m.

It's obvious he is suited to a 2 man attack and Joao is a good partner for him as well, it's not as if that couldn't work and with a fairly big reshuffle this summer, that could be an option for any manager. The potential is there for the club next season if that's the route we want to take, from the (relatively small) sample of fixtures where both have paired together in recent times, it's always looked a threat and/or got goals.

I just think it would be wise for us to take the cash and get his wages off the wage bill, which would be a shame because I've always thought he could do well even when he's been well out of form.

Also, I didn't know they also had an option to buy even if they didn't get promoted, I always just assumed it was if they got promoted they had that option for 5m Euros.

2 more today 7 in 15. probably missing a trick letting him go when he was mismanaged so badly. we can`t afford now anyway.

Even if Pisa don't go up, there's a fair chance somebody else over there might fancy taking him if he keeps scoring.

Pisa will definitely be in the promotion play-offs but can still go up automatically, the last games are in Serie B are tomorrow, they have to beat Frosinone away while hoping Monza lose away to Perugia and Cremonese fail to beat Como.

H2H record is the first tie-breaker in Serie B of which Pisa would come out on top.

Anyone know which system Pisa play? The guy can score goals!! he bagged loads before coming to us and is now scoring plenty with Pisa. Can we not just change our system and keep the guy :D

They play two up top, that's already a big departure from what we play.

Perhaps Ince (or whoever) might develop a different view over the summer.

Puscas scores again as Pisa win 2-1.

Finish 4th so get a 1st round bye in the play-offs.
