I've just realised he sounds like some sort of trans superhero, Barbara Man.

Reported again today by Ghana Soccernet that he will choose between us and WBA for the season despite interest from France and Germany.

Also saw that Jamal Lewis is the premier league LB we are interested in

Would be delighted with Lewis. Surprised he hasn’t gone elsewhere tbh

Whilst he's not perfect, I'd be disappointed if anyone ousted NGW now. Looking really promising.

Came here to say this.

After a shaky start is now absolutely a dead cert starter for me.

To be fair I don't know why anyone would choose a UK championship club over any National team, but especially the likes of France and Germany.

I have always took it as not but who knows. Posted more about the deal today - apparently a loan until January to help him get back to fitness - we are after assurances that he is fit enough to play. If this is true, would be risky but imagine Newcastle would cover all wages. He would slot in as first choice with NGW getting minutes here and there and developing to potentially take over as first choice in Jan.

Probably all rubbish but makes for a mildly interesting distraction.

Evening Standard reporting that Rahman is weighing up 2 offers from Championship clubs for a permanent deal, they don't name the clubs.

Would honestly think, that if we are one, that we would be very unlikely to be able to get it over the line given the Sarr delays.

Courtney Friday stating he believes this to be true but naturally we can't compete with WBA on wages, so if he signs it'll be because he really wants to join rather than for the cash.

I think they were considering paying his deal up. If so, he may happily take a much smaller wage for a couple of years, if it means actually playing.

Is he in us final year at Chelsea? I guess so and having made big money there he is probably ok with taking a huge page cut. Personally I would prefer Jamal Lewis who is a classy performer at Championship level.

+1 I just hope we can offload Puscas so that we can get these deals done.

Felt for a while the Puscas saga is going to run onto deadline day.
