They'll be no GINgerly going in to tackles with Jeff. I am sure his dynamic displays will lift the spirits......

Good signing is that for the season, pleased with that, should offer us good quality in the midfield as well as a highly experienced player.

Hope we’ve signed Derby and Burnley Jeff Hendrick not the Newcastle and QPR one

Even at Newcastle he wasn't terrible by all accounts. Just didn't get much of a chance.

I would've put good money on the fact that he used to play for Norwich :?

Is that 3 loan spots used? Fornah, Lumley and Hendrick. So still not exhausted such opportunities; you can have 5 in any match day squad and 7 overall.

A good signing anyhow. It feels like our squad is coming together; just need a left back plus a bit more depth in midfield and at CB

Yep - would imagine we may try and keep those 2 for any younger PL players who may suddenly become available.

Player of the season at Derby, well regarded by Newcastle under the Bruce era, QPR fans destroyed him last season and blamed him for the dip in form.

Defensive holding midfielder, not one to be driving the team forward.

Still 2 years to run on his contract and earns over £50k a week. I guess we are doing Newcastle a favour to free up squad numbers.

On reflection this is a good, solid signing. The QPR loan spell wasn’t great and that coloured my judgement. He will also have the experience to help Fornah. Think the two could work well together.

Add Hutchison as a 3rd option and also defensive cover and we’re well sorted.
Left back and a young attacking midfielder now ?

Already been told he wouldn't be in the squad, so yes in Newcastle's interest to get him away from the club.

Think this a banging signing for the position we’re in.
