Extended-Phenotype Church? No chance. Manset was one of the few players to actually do something positive, while it would be bizarre to drop Le Fondre after one game, though I thought the balloon floating around the goal at half-time showed more promise.

Taylor would be interesting. Jem and Legs didn’t play a forward pass all game; we are screaming out for a bit of creativity and positive play through the middle.

Drop Jem, move Jobi inside or park Taylor there in my opinion. Failing that, go 4-3-3 with Jem and Legs behind Jobi or Taylor, maybe shifting Le Fondre out wide on the left and let him cut inside on the attack. Keeps us with two forwards, but retains a bit of body in midfield for a creative to get stuck in.

Failing that tell Jem to MAKE A FORWARD PASS ONCE IN A F//KING WHILE.

if you think we should drop Jem then you are oxf*rd pissed  jem has been 10x better then leigertwood i think Jem has been one of the only postives this season, his energy is needed in the midfield.

Sarah Star Don't know about Manset. Felt that against Watford he looked like he was making an effort but lacked the expertise to pull it off.

I just feel that now Church has hit the net twice in a game, he might have found his mojo again.

I do like church but noone can argue the fact he spends 90% of his time making diagonal runs with one arm in the air which is no use when you have Alex Pearce lumping the ball forwards, church needs a diff style of play

Church will never be an impact off the bench player - he needs to start games if he is going to score

Please to see Jake Taylor do well last night for the res'. He scored one and set up the other two for Church!

Knock knock knock.

Anyone else notice that Howard was not playing for the reserves....Gunn and Tabb in CM. Taylor played as a support striker off Church

i'm not really sure i understand your reply. he went there for more experience, get some competitive games under his belt. he's a midfielder, you can't surely be basing your opinion on how well he did there by goals scored? a few colleagues of mine are shots fans and they really rated him. very direct, good vision and keen to express himself.

This.

I actually like what I've seen of him but I don't think a few sub appearances in league 2 and a couple of assists against Wimbledon reserves is going to have him suddenly knocking on the first team door.

I don't think Church gets up to speed that quickly, he needs starts if he's going to be effective.

The reserves beat Bristol Rovers 6-0 today. Beast hat-trick, Howard, Harte and Morrison.
