Listening on five live in my kitchen up here in Durham. Fans sounded brilliant. Brilliant work. Looking forward to the Royals being back in the north east next season but more so the fact that I won't have to to frickin Middlesbrough for my annual 'home' match. Urzz!!!!

Being there last night was immense. I missed out on the Leicester promotion party but made sure I didn't miss out on this one! To be honest, I didn't think it would happen until Saturday. When that ball crossed the line I could feel the tears rising to the surface. And that goal line clearance at the end by Pearcy, unbelievable. What an amazing season. What an amazing team. The squad played their part in so many ways. And the images of Jem arriving having bailed out of hospital optimises this club. I'm a bit worse for wear this morning but thankfully it will be a quiet day in the office.

Lets go get that trophy!

So it was all real then.

An amazing night, pure elation when Ledge's goal went in. Felt my heart jump through my body when Tudgay headed it, I didn't even see Pearce block it due to my seat but that only made it worse. I'm pretty sure I screamed like a little girl.

Nearly in tears anticipating the final whistle.

Gr8 evening.

Top pitch invasion last night people - in 2006 I was the excitable child but last night I felt like a proud father :)

Incredible have been through every emotion possible, nearly got run over this morning was in a world of my own thinking about Reading fc ,stepped out into the road, luckily the car was going slowly. Still if I had been killed suppose I could have had a long chat with former Reading heroes who are upstairs, I wonder what Robin Friday, Bomber Reeves, Dick Spiers et al make of it would be interesting to know.

I know we owe a great debt to Brian, Sir Mad, Anton etc but I think we also owe a lot to Alan Pardew,Sir Steve also something to Brendan Rogers who signed some of the present team, a lot of our current success started with the hard work put in by AP and continued by Sir Steve. Sir Mad has had his critics over the years but where would Reading FC be without him?

Wonderful,wonderful. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Brilliant!

Quality, completely changed my opinion of Harte, terrible start to the season, really turned it on after he was dropped. Hope we give him a new 1 year deal! I love this photo!!

Gutted to have missed it last night.
Was offered tickets but I run a five-a-side on Tuesday night and didn't think tonight would be the promotion night anyway.
So this team have surprised me again this season.

Managed to watch it unfold at the end in the local though.

Epic stuff. Epic scenes. Just epic.

You always wonder what these things look like on TV when you're at the event.
It looked proper good last night.
The team and the fans have done me proud.
