Reading and Birmingham for some reason just do WHU most of the time, I know west ham battered them second half of the game when they last played but I can see why they are nervous.

holsgrove breaks a leg How about a 'crap 11 that hardly ever played for Reading FC'-

1.Peter van de Kwaak
2.Ray Wallace
3. Andy Legg
4 Elroy Kromheer
5 Greg Halford
6 Emerse Fae
7 Jason Bowen
8 Sean Evers
9 Paul Brayson
10 Bas Savage
11 Michael O Neil

Definitely had some worse players than some of those

James Henry isn't one of them though

What's the selection process, then? My thinking was that of our failures who didn't play many games, Henry would be one of the better ones. The aim of a football game is to win, surely; and so we need to choose the best-of-the-crap, don't we?

I was typing the same thing. A minimum game requirement is surely needed. Halford's attitude stank and I know he gave away a penalty in one of the 3 games played but surely he wasn't one of the worst players ever?

If there's no minimum appearance requirement, let's stick Marcus Williams in.

AthleticoSpizz Andy Legg played a good few

as did Paul Brayson

Brayson rarely/never scored for us, yet scored dozens upon dozens for lower denomination teams (only 11 for Harrogate Town this season mind)

Brayson: 18 (30) - 1

So that's a strike rate of one goal every 48 appearances. Makes Church look like Messi, doesn't it.

The great man recently joined Lokomotiv Sofia in Bulgaria on a two year deal.

Coming off the bench on his debut, he scored.
He started the next game, also scoring.

I notice that Simon Church is level with Pogrebniak this season, and Dave Mooney is top scorer in League 1 with 12.
Maybe we should bring them back too.:

I think most people would agree that Mooney got a tough deal even whilst he was still with us. He's done fairly well everywhere he's been, but didn't get a chance with us.

At his best I think Mooney could perform decently in a mid table championship side but he's the sort of player that's gone out of fashion really. Bit like Alf.

tbf Sean Evers scored at Fulham. We got dicked 3-1 (or was it 4-1?) all I know is that it rained a lot and I'd drunk a lot of Kronenbourg

Nah he didn't. That was Grant Brebner. Evers didn't sign for us for another couple of months.
