Some good news for Reading.

So Chelsea's FA Cup game against Southend or Brentford is being televised by ESPN, which means the game is taking place on Sunday 27th Jan and ONLY two days later it's Reading v Chelsea.

OFFS! I am supposed to be going to Germany for a couple of days that week - have been desperately trying to make sure I'm still in the UK on the 29th, just about got agreement that we'll go on the 30th - now I'll have to come up with another excuse to delay to the week after. :(

I think we'll beat chelsea- Benitez has this track record of inconsistancy, bizarre squad rotation, underestimating weaker teams and defeats to Reading!

There is no news suggesting Reading v Chelsea is going to be moved from 29th. It might be, but would have thought they'd have announced it by now seeing as cup TV games were announced this morning.

I imagine they will ut out the strongest possible team against Southend or Brentford, cos they have the easy game to follow

makes sense. Although quite short notice, so I suspect some home fans won't be too pleased about it.

Isn't it the FA Cup's fault, rather than the Premiershite?

All because little old Chelsea couldn't possibly be expected to play on a Sunday and Tuesday, even though they'll probably field two different sides in the two games (and only need 5 players to beat us).

In this case you can't really blames the PL - as it was an FA Cup tie switched for TV which has forced the change.

If you want to blame anyone, blame Reading for scheduling this on a Tuesday (when they had a choice of Tuesday or Wednesday) and should have known there was a possibility of the opponents being involved in a televised FA Cup game on the Sunday.

Pissed off with this... Arranged a customer meeting orginally on the 29th up north, then moved it to the 30th when I realised we were at home to Chelsea on the 29th.

Sods law, back to the customer it is!!!
