Think it's a bit harsh on Alfie not to be starting.

No Thomas Ince or Craig Cathcart for them, and they've lost a lot of players over the summer. If we're serious about promotion, anything but a win is a poor result.

Without Ince I'm expecting a 5-0 rout. Not sure how it changes them defensively but it does.

Very harsh on Jobi and Alf - Hate to seem like I am jumping on the band wagon but Blackman should be nowhere near the first 11!

Is there any way of listening to the match live if abroad? Do I have to resort to readingworld?

Not surprised ALF isn't starting after Bolton, seems to be a clear tactic to be a bit more cautious and direct away from home, with pace for the break. A little surprised about McAnuff out again though. That's a little bit close to powderpuff for a 5 man midfield. But McCleary and Robson-Kanu will offer more of a goal threat than Jobi. Maybe less of a creative threat, maybe not.

Surprised to see the yo-yo bench fun with Mariappa and Gorkss. Williams must be feeling a little hard done not to make the starting line up after some fairly tasty cameos.

Mariappa not even on the bench. And Williams still not getting a start. Any ideas of reasons from those of you in the know?

I'm not in the know, but for Mariappa, we've got four quality Championship centrebacks and someone has to miss out, either Mariappa's been naughty, is likely to leave, or just hasn't performed well enough in training - my money's on option 3. As for Williams, there's no way Guthrie or Karacan are going to get dropped when they are playing so well and clearly that leaves no room for Williams if we're going with pace and flair throught the rest of midfield.

He'd have to be performing fairly atrociously in training to be kept out of the team by our current CB pairing.

What utter nonsense. Pearce and Morrison have both played well. We may have conceeded a few goals, but they have largely been without blame for them.

2 crosses allowed from Gunter's wing Bridge having to defend well. Too easy
