Uke
blueroyals VERY happy with Clark

He's already our manager on Wikipedia, although we may be in for a bad spell

"Reading FC On 16th December 2014, two days after previous manager Nigel Atkins had been sacked, Clarke took over as Reading FC managager"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Clarke

When did Atkins work here?

Clark is 1/6 favourite on Sky Bet. Haven't seen those type of odds since about an hour before it was announced Brian was getting the sack.

Presume he will have contacts at Chelsea so maybe some loanees? No one would have to relocate to come on loan with us.

Petr Cech anyone...? He loves Reading..........

Based on betting it looks like Clarke is the man, but then betting doesn't necessarily mean anything. If it is then he has a good track record coaching wise but not convinced as a manager. Probably turn out to be another Adkins...

With that spelling of Manager, are you sure some WUM like Kes hasn't been on there and updated it?

Would laugh if Talksport have based their one paragraph on a fan having a laugh on Wikipedia.

Also the announcement won't be official until tomorrow afternoon if the dates are anything to go by. And since when does anyone take any notice of talkSport?

Steve Clarke would be a most acceptable choice. In my humble opinion, if the Baggies had stuck with him they would be in a better position than they are now.

May I draw your attention to the second clause of my post...

This part of his biography has already been redacted from the Wikipedia page, probably by a Chelsea fan like Kes
