Fulham away

by Pepe the Horseman » 14 Sep 2015 11:52

Gonna be my first visit to Fulham for a Reading game, and a few of my plastic m8s want to come along for the day out. Take it we usually sell out? Are neutral tickets pretty easy to get hold of?

What ID do you need for the neutral area ? Is a non RG postcode ok, or do we need to prove we don't have an RFC member card ?

Rugby World Cup QF 4:30pm at Twickenham I assume?

Noticed Fulham released ticket prices today, £25 for Adults which should mean a good away following,

Aye, as if it's going to kick off between these two middle-class giants.

No idea how Fulham get away with the concept of a 'neutral' zone which is basically an unsegregated area next to the away section that means more away fans can get in. It seems to work though, never heard of any trouble. And of course it should be possible to stand next to a fan from the other team and not spit at him or stab him.

The Foolem concept is certainly an interesting one, regarding away fans, although it definitely seems to work. Surprising really, given tribal rivalries. And, from what I've heard, quite a few of the lads are going to this game. Nice day out by the Thames in Landen. What more could one ask for?

What if they're asking for it?

In that case it would be rude not to.
But obviously that's an exception.

IN for this.

A very good friend of mine is a Fulham season ticket holder and he normally takes us around his local haunts in and around the Putney Bridge area. Will be wearing my Stone Island gear so I don’t feel too intimidated.

If I remember correctly......the neutral area is only pay at the gate, there are no tickets in advance and it is more expensive (£30 I think last year). They don't care where you're from so you don't need any id etc. It's a throwback from when Fulham were in the prem but couldn't fill their ground and was to entice visitors to London who wanted to see a premiership game.
