Hound Fulham's run in

fair play if they do make it in, but reckon Leeds will scrape it

I don't think Wednesdays run in is any easier

That final game of the season could be a cracker

Presumably Sky will show the Sheff Wed v Fulham game.

Hound That last set of 6 results kind of sums up our season. Generally great, with the odd absolute disaster thrown in

Exactly. We sort of expect the occasional absolute disaster because we have been here before, and we have recovered before. One of the things I absolutely love about this current team (including management) is their resilience. So what if they get crushed and humiliated one day, they will come out swinging a few days later.

But people looking on from the sides think that a club that can go down 7-1 (or 5-0, or 4-0 etc), is flaky and unreliable, and the least likely thing to happen is a sustained set of decent results. Even though there are multiple sustained sets of decent results staring them in the face. They can't see them because they can't take their eyes off the fireball in the middle of each set.

We have lost one league game at home all season. One! If we'd lost those away disasters 1-0 instead of 3-0 and above, the pundits might notice stats like that. But yeah, blinded by the light....

You would've thought so, unless one of them totally balls up and the game ends up meaning nothing. Sky will then have to hope for a relegation game to mean something.

Not all pundits. Alan Curbishley said similar things on the football league show last night, that bad results don't seem to phase us, we just dust ourselves down and get on it.

I know it was a joke about Adkins or McDermott saying "we move on" but Stam genuinely does seem to just draw a line under games and move on. He's quite dispassionate about results and I think that feeds down to the squad.

Chris Gunter was definitely sticking to that message when he was interviewed after the Norwich game. Basically saying although they were sorry for the fans, they didn't have time to sit around feeling sorry for themselves, they had to move on, because there were important games coming up. Something along the lines of "sulk the next day and then put it out of your mind".

We were truly terrible in that defeat to QPR. The Villa one hurts more because I still don't think we deserved to lose that.

Don't they normally offer a couple of final day games?

Ours could well be of interest but I hope Burton are safe before we play them.

Hoping for Wednesday vs Fulham and Brum vs Brizzle (with Saggy 'arry going down on live TV)

Quite possibly so. I guess it depends on how many games mean something on the last day. Brum v Brizzle could be an excellent shout!

have a feeling one of Leeds or Fulham will completely blow up and the PO places will be decided the week before.

Relegation battle is definitely interesting though. Can certainly see Brum going down
