Only positive is we haven't lost ground on 21st, puts so much pressure on the Bolton game now.

Poor management I'm afraid. Starting line up unnecessarily changed and the team unbalanced as a result. Barrow sub also a wrong decision.

So shit team selection for shit team leads to another shit result shock.

I only saw the second half, but...

I know Aluko scored, but he looked dreadful.
Swift was better and stronger than I've seen him this season, but really needs to cut back on the chipped passes, and play forward earlier when he's deep (which he shouldn't ever be).
Ejaria looks good.
The grotesque Mr Leandro seemed to turn up in place of Dr Bacuna once again.

Terrible midfield combination. So powderpuff. If I was being exceptionally generous I'd say our shape was 'fluid', but I think it's more honest to say it was an utter shambles with players popping up all over the place and no coherency to it at all.

Rinomhota utterly wasted out of position.

Didn't see Ilori do a lot wrong second half, certainly compared to everyone else.
Loader continues to look out of his depth with yet another appearance without a goal to sit on his back like a monkey.

Lower West
bcubed Shame I don't think weve played too bad

This is of course what every relegated side says!

Looks like a clear shoot out between the bottom 4 now.

Yup. And we stay up on GD.

Pathetic team selection yet again, why is Baker walking in ahead of Aluko after his display at Old Trafford? Why is Ilori still playing? Why are we not playing a LB? Why have we moved our best midfielder to RB who then has a poor game? Why are we still passing around the back four when it's clear we can't do it? Lose at Bolton and the pressure will start to mount already on Gomes unfortunately, I've liked his work so far but his 11 today made no sense whatsoever

Think every one of us would take that now if it was offered

One Derby fan saying we were the better team for the entire second half but we are incapable of playing well for ninety minutes. Same fan said if we go down we will have our keeper to thank for it as he was very poor.

Another fan said we looked far too good to go down. Once again though we lose narrowly so it remains not good enough.

Thank God Rotherham lost.

You would have thought that Gomes would have learnt from the Millwall game. Same mistakes from the same style of play in the opening minutes.

Surely a solid formation from the kick off would have been the better option. Bring on the creative players once the game opens up later on. No disgrace in playing for a draw as the away team.

Few points from the highlights

- Derby's first goal was well worked but how simple was it and who was tracking the runner? Looked offside to me as well but couldn't get a good angle

- Ilori and Jaakkola (surprise surprise) with shocking passes which Derby really should have done better from

- Swift simply HAS to score that chance at 1-0 down

- Second goal is unlucky

- Good goal from our perspective, good pressing from Ejaria and calm finish from Aluko

Fear that Gomes is similar to Stam. Attempting to ask the players to adopt a philosophy that isn't natural. The opposition managers have us worked out. Press high.

Very disappointed tbh not to get at least a point. Need to be getting some momentum going

Certainly looks like between the crap at the bottom up to Wigan. Very fortunate they all lost as well

Only for the time being.

If we have a worse GD than Rotherham and Bolton by the final day, then we'll already be relegated.

"We must play our process from the start". Yet after the Swansea match he said that a start like that would "never happen again".

While results under Clement weren't great. Felt as if the side was coming together, i.e. settled. With some players yet to return from injury. Feels as if the momentum has been lost.

We pressed Derby, but I don't think that equates to being better. They had a two goal lead so didn't need to press for more and the only time we looked like scoring is when they suicided a pass into Ejaria's path he put Aluko one on one well.

Plus they still did enough to miss an absolutely sitter.

EDIT and have another ruled out offside.

Their first looked fine to me. Caused by the clusterfukc decision to play Rino at RB and him not knowing what to do with the run, so doesn't track it and steps up way late.

Ilori dropped a bollock with a pass, but it wasn't punished so massive meh on that for me.

Yep agree with all that. Swift has to score from there but seems to scuff it wide. That back pass from Ilori was a shocker. Could Jaakkola have done better for the first goal and come out quicker?
Ejaria did well for our goal and Aluko with a calm finish.

Swift’s miss was crucial I feel at that stage - and yeah an absolute shocker.

It was a point dropped solely due to team selection and then the bizarre Barrow sub.

Positives: Swift continues to improve and Aluko looks like a revived player.
