biff Delicious chicken tortilla wrap pre game, and a stellar cappuccino afterwards. Its all phucking quality.

The wait is to be expected for fresh food, just have a pint and talk to somebody.

I assume the beef is over the choice of coffee, tbf - which in this case is mostly hot milk.

Do you take a cookie with that, "biff"?

No beef. I love coffee more than anyone but football is about beer.

True.

Anyway, the food is obviously first class but I think the queues make it pointless. Anyone disagree?

Have you ever been to a football stadium before? There are always queues. queuing for decent food at a decent price is better than queuing for mediocrity, but I have literally never bought food or drink at the Mad Stad (or any other sporting venue) without having to queue.

Not to the degree I experienced on Saturday. It was nigh-on a disgrace. I'm used to grabbing a burger in a queue of about 5 people max. That's if I need to eat, normally I don't. Eating's cheating innit.

Just get to the ground earlier if you want to avoid queues. We always get there a good hour early. Never have a problem.

I must say the fresh cooked real potato chips were pretty damn good yesterday and very generous portions for £4.

Also liked the Ox Heart from the Peruvian stall.

Thankfully your decision counts for nothing.

Awesome again. Peruvian ox heart cooked in front of you, well worth the 5 minute wait. If you want a pie, go inside and get one.

I was surprised to see someone tucking into one of those over-priced crappy hot dogs that they sell inside the stadium when they could have had what IMO is a much, much better (and larger) sausage in a decent toasted roll + loads of different toppings from Heavenly Sausage outside. Doubt there is much price difference either.

Still I guess there's no accounting for taste and health.

At least Blue Collar Street Food seem to have significantly reduced the queues at the food concessions inside the stadium for those who don't like queuing! Long may their success and popularity continue.

If I wasn't at the ground, I wouldn't go out of my way to buy a greasy burger, a bland hot dog or a luke warm pie. The food for sale outside the ground (at least that which I've had) is excellent and I would buy it if I wasn't at the ground.

It's not a question of whether it's Ox heart or something 'unusual' it's a question of food freshly cooked to a very high standard. Queuing is part and parcel of eating fast food - in McDonalds or KFC, for example - so a queue for good food is worth more than a queue for crap food.

My favourite is the Korean chicken.
