URZZZZ Weird stat but since 2015/16 our record after the international break is

W12
D2
L2

Those losses included two of our better performances of 17/18 against Wolves (H) and Bristol (H). We seem to have a habit of playing well after two weeks off

I was just about to ask because I had a vague memory our record was shit.

Either I'm thinking back a lot further than I thought or just plain wrong then. Ta.

I hope Miazga is back today because, although McIntyre has done ok with his few opportunities, I think we need a solid and physical back 3 to make our system work.
The only weak link so far has been Moore but hopefully he gets back to where he was a couple of seasons ago.

I'm just hoping we can do something about constantly leaving our flanks exposed. That's been the problem with Moore this season. He doesn't cope well with being dragged out to the right to cover the massive hole there.

No Miazga again is a bit of a concern, especially after a break.

royalp-we I think the break will have done us good. Blackett returning is also good news.

The likes of Boye & Meite will be hungry for goals and to make an impact in these next run of games. I’d start both of them tbh.

Glad to see Meite in, Joao was not great v Charlton...

Not impressed with Boye yet, but good idea to protect Puscas.

Great to see Rino back in the XI. Pele's ok, but Rino's a star. Hope we can control the game and he doesn't get horribly exposed by the more powderpuff versions of Swift and Ejaria who sometimes turn up.

Blackett is going to have to work hard to get back in the side, which is good. On the other hand if Moore continues to struggle and Miazga doesn't return he might revert to CB.

Today’s full teams

Middlesbrough; Randolph, Dijksteel, Fry, Shotton, Bola, Assombalonga, McNair, Clayton, Wing, Johnson, Fletcher.
Subs; Ayala, Tavernier, Browne, Saville, Marley, Walker, Pears

Reading; Rafael, Morrison, Moore, McIntyre, Yiadom, Richards, Rinomhota, Ejaria, Swift, Boye, Meite
Subs; Virginia, Loader, Puscas, Joao, Adam, Blackett, Pele

Puscas apparently has a minor toe injury.

Assombalonga always scores against us,

Blackett over Obita on the bench is obvious cover for LB and CB.

oxf*rd me we look vulnerable.

Don't want to find an escape goat but Boye's first couple of touches have been woeful. Like he's actually trying to pass to boro.

Don't Panic
Sutekh
Lastly, Jose’s no. 2, Jorge Mendonca, will be hoping to achieve a hat trick of cautions.

Meh. We look good I think but Boye is still convincing me he is all style no substance.
