Hound Have to say I want to see the back of 3 CBs after that as well

I like the concept, but we play it so badly. And Moore is an abomination on the right side of it.

I think the problem is in the way we use the wing backs, which is the same way we used them as full backs - wingers. They're way too high.

Our attack is too narrow and our strikers would do better with crosses.

............................Cabral
............Miazga, Morrison, Blackett
Yiadom.....Rinomhota..Ejaria........Obita
....Meite..............Puscas............Barrett

Scrap the bullshit pass it out from the back, especially at gks.

Swift is better than Ejaria IMO. Swift had a poor game but Ejaria is so so slow on the ball. He’s reverting back to his last season form

NewCorkSeth I like him and all but his inexperience is showing. I'm not going to have a go at him on social media or anything but he is almost always to tight or too far from his man, particularly during counter attacks. In possession he is fine. His passing is fine and he looks more composed when bringing the ball forward than Moore and Morrison (although his passing was shocking today) but at the end of the day I have to judge him on his defensive contributions and they were sorely lacking today.

Clearly at fault for both goals. Don’t think we’ll see him play for a while now, especially if we revert back to a 4. Blackett, Miazga, Moore and Morrison should all be ahead of him for the CB spot

The complete lack of any presence from Moore and Yiadom more at fault for the first. Acres of space to shoot. Yes, failed to close his man down in the build up though.

Not sure on the second, right in front of me but it was such a mess.

Facts.

If the ball hadn't gone in they should have had a penalty. Their striker was pulled down with the shirt virtually being pulled off his back.

For the second? I missed that if so. I thought Dack fell about quite a bit so would be surprised if he didnt take the foul and dive.

It wasn’t being pulled in the slightest

It was hideous defending from McIntyre though

Calls for a free kick in C1871.

Was right in front of me... but the whole thing was a mess. 6 of one at worst IMO.

Having seen the highlights, McIntyre doesn't do great for either goal, but left totally exposed on the first one and it's Yiadom who decides to leave his man to double team with Moore. Obviously no midfielder covers, do they Swift.

Second one, Yiadom and Moore get beaten by the most obvious interchange ever, no one covers them and then McIntyre is beaten by some good movement, maybe a shirt tug and slips.

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that Yiadom isn't actually a defender.
