Was a fairly decent game for a 0-0.

They were alright, until they hit the Bournemouth penalty area when they seemed to have no idea. Bournemouth did a very good job of getting 2 lines of 4 back every time and really hit So'ton on the break. Could have won by more, tbh.

Alexander-Arnold's goal v Chelsea?
Salah rolled it under his boot rather than kicking it - you can't do that can you? I thought it had to be a kick for a free kick. I would have disallowed it.

Not covered, as far as I can see, in the rules

FA website A free kick can be taken by lifting the ball with a foot or both feet simultaneously.

Feinting to take a free kick to confuse opponents is permitted as part of football.

That wording appears to allows the 'donkey drop' of Ernie Hunt & Coventry.

You might have to explain that one Papes-most on here believe that football only started with the advent of the Premier League.

The resident Derby fan in my team describing Cocu's Derby over the last few weeks is like the "glory" days of Stam's second season. Lots of short passes, no plan B, scared to go long, lots of nice ball players who get easily overpowered in the centre of the park, getting pinned in their own box by opposition high press eventually leading to giving the ball away in dangerous areas and the inevitable goal conceded. Not a happy camp right now. Shame we don't play them for a while.

I don't remember the donkey kick, but remember Shoot! writing about it, and that was why I thought that that a free kick had to be kicked. I was wrong then.

The Liverpool goal should have been disallowed because it would have been amusing to see them complain about the injustice.

They would probably have gone on to win the game anyway such was their superiority in that first half.
Jealousy is a very sad condition.
Keep going you mighty reds-15 straight Premier League wins is quite good IMHO.

This may be the first season where, to me at least, Man Utd Vs Arsenal just doesn't feel like a big game anymore.

Depends on how many injuries United have...if Martial, Shaw and Pogba (doubt?) are still out we're fooked!

We've beaten Leicester and Chelsea at home (not forgetting the thrillers against Astana and Rochdale)

Combined (fit) eleven shows how much it's attack v defence. James in...purely on form and numbers but could quite easily see LaCazzatte (sp?) there. If Pogba is injured it defaults to ANY Arsenal midfielder. Martial and Shaw could get in my (biased) combined eleven if fit

Old Man Andrews .

Well, well, well we are already a quarter of the way through the season with the leagues starting to take shape and already give us some idea of where teams are likely to finish. Some absolute corkers this weekend and would love to get your predictions on the following:

Fleetwood v Ipswich
Crewe v Exeter
Chesterfield v Eastleigh
Havant and Waterlooville v Hemel Hempstead
