URZZZZ Not a good night for English sides tonight. Have no idea why Klopp persists with Milner and Henderson in midfield, especially when they also have Shaqiri, Keita, Lallana, Chamberlain and Wijnaldum in reserve. They’re both too similar and Henderson is clearly better than Milner

Klopp has won the Champions League, thats not his focus and if you asked him he would probably welcome going out of the competition after the group stages. .

And going into the Europa League?

Not if they come 4th in the group they won't. Even if they did they would just play their reserves. All that club wants is the league this season so they can then go on about it for the next 10 years.

True, but even with their reserves, if they come 4th out of a group of Napoli, Genk and Salzburg, I don't think they are going to be challenging at the top of the league!

Liverpool lost at Napoli last year and have done this year. They qualified out of a group that also included PSG - they will pick up 10 to 12 points from the Salzburg and Genk fixtures and likely beat Napoli at Anfield to top the group.

Absolute nonsense. There’s no way Klopp would welcome going out the competition after the group stages. I’m pretty sure if he did, he would have rested some more players like Salah, Mane etc considering they’re also away at Chelsea this weekend

URZZZZ VAR continuing to be a farce, no surprises there although in its defence, it hasn’t been as slow as I originally anticipated in the Premier League

Ross Barkley also continuing to disappoint, few controversies over penalty taker in that one

Milner is physically stronger than the others that you have mentioned and away to a side that is about 8th best or so in Europe he plays it a bit more cautiously.

Alf-Inge Haaland's kid.

This year I’ve only grown five centimetres,” Erling Braut Haaland said in an interview in November 2017, a statement which, understandably, led the journalist to query the “only” part. “Well, last year I grew 11-12 centimetres,” came the reply from the then 17-year-old.

He's a bit of a monster. Currently on 17 goals in 9 appearances this season.

Toni Kroos completely owned by Idrissa Gueye last night in Paris. Madrid totally outplayed with Bale, Hazard and Rodriguez anonymous. They look totally f ucked and can only be a matter of time before Mourinho has to answer the bat signal.

Bale definitely was not anonymous. He was everywhere last night....almost scored another wonder goal as well but var ruled it out. Hazard on the other hand was sh*te.

Couldn't care less about Barca at the moment. Or at least I don't care as much as Sanguine seems to care about my view on Barca.

Madrid have three big problems currently. A goalkeeper who is simply not up to the standard. As good as he was there were and are better keepers than Navas, it's just that Courtois is not one of them. That's Perez's issue because he bought Courtois.

Ark Royal Toni Kroos completely owned by Idrissa Gueye last night in Paris. Madrid totally outplayed with Bale, Hazard and Rodriguez anonymous.

This is the second issue is a Zidane one. Kroos gets owned most of the time because he's so static and doesn't track back enough, although he's improved that aspect in the last few La Liga games. Modric could cover for Kroos in the past but he's older now and can't cover the same amount of ground. But the problem is that Fede Valverde is the only other option because people like Llorente, Kovacic and Ceballos were allowed to leave and Zidane hung his hat on getting Pogba. If Casemiro gets suspended or injured then Madrid are screwed because there is no defensive midfield cover.

Third issue is a horrendous injury list. That has a knock on effect to the likes of Hazard, who isn't up to speed after his injury.

Just needling you, sandman. The Barca/Real stuff from you on here reminds me of the good old days where you couldn't move on the General Football forum for TMD's Liverpool/United stuff.

Ole having a shocker. Not surprising really. To have Marcus Rashford as your only striker is unforgivable. Always found it amusing United fans picking on Lukaku when he's much superior to Rashford

just pure shite...

Lukaku is great if you're feeding in crosses into the box or if he's running in behind. He has a terrible first touch and really not a footballer. I'm glad he was moved on but he should have been replaced

Ole's coaching/tactics are fooking dire. Two CDM's slow as fook with Lingard/Mata as no.10 LOL
