Doesn't really matter, they are both as good as up. Clubs below them too inconsistant to close the gap unless one or other fall off a cliff.

Agreed, there's always still that hope that leeds will choke again I suppose.

Nope. Have a look at the last time they played eachother. Can only go by head to head results.

Wow - I've been getting it wrong all this time. There was me thinking that the best team in a league format was decided by the one that was top.

Thanks for clearing that one up.

If Oxford beat Man City on Wednesday does that mean they are the better team?

They are separated by 2 points in the League, nothing in it at all. You therefore look at the head to head record and see Leeds beat West Brom easily when they played earlier in the season.

If you need anything else explained to you let me know. Happy to help people learn.

No they play in different leagues. Leeds and West Brom are separated by 2 points in the same league.

Hope that helps.

The measure of how good a team at this stage of the season can only be measured by the head to head record when the two teams are as close as they are. You would have a point if that was the final league table but it isn't. Leeds beat West Brom when they last played.

You want to give up now?

Man City and Oxford are separated by two leagues, this is already clearly shows Manchester City are the better team. They are also the current Premier League champions.

Please have a think before posting next time champ.

Yes but obviously referring to two teams that play in the same league and are as close as WBA and Leeds are. If you had some level of intelligence you would know this.

You being delusional doesn't even come close in this one. The measure of how good a team are at ANY stage of the season is where they sit in the table. Just because WBA maybe didn't perform on that day against Leeds doesn't make them any less of the best team.
Reading got a point at WBA - I presume, on your basis, we're as good as WBA. Don't think there'll be many takers for that particular opinion.

Try setting up a poll to see who agrees with you. Then have a think about how you can explain that it's not you that's wrong, it's everyone else. Seriously, are you Jeremy Corbyn ?

No we aren't as good because of the points difference.

The fact Leeds and WBA are separated by two points and Leeds beat WBA when they went head to head is proof Leeds are the better side.

Rewind 12 months ago, Leeds were 10 points ahead of Sheffield United, United were inconsistent and everyone thought it was Leeds’ year. You know what happened in the end. At the moment, the best team in the league WBA are likely to finish 1st and Leeds 2nd but I wouldn’t say at this point that they’re as good as up

if you had any level of intelligence you would see that the team higher in the league is the better side. £20 charity bet that WBA finish above Leeds?
