Brilliant news. Long may he remain so. Don’t know how quickly he’ll be back playing but be nice for the club/fans to show some support or give a great welcome for him when Hull visit.

His driving is about as accurate as his crossing when he played for us.

Martinez saved Arsenal from embarrassment last night; top keeper. Always good to deny Leeds.

Possible early contender for signing of the decade? Can’t believe a League One team has such a good player!

Nice interview with Craig Tanner here. Comes across as a pretty level headed guy.

Such a shame injuries and circumstances curtailed his Reading Career. Of all of the Academy players of that era he was the one I enjoyed watching the most and had real high hopes for.

Here's hoping there's better days ahead of him and he doesn't have to degrade himself playing for Aldershot for too long...

Nice article. Seems very level headed about the whole football thing.

Great read, thanks Vision.

Tanner was one of my favourite Academy players in 2013-14 and the one that I was most optimistic about breaking into the first team. Remember being on holiday for that Newport game and was buzzing when I saw he'd scored, his injury couldn't have come at a worse time. Wasn't aware of his recent problems, hope he can get back into the Football League at some point.

Brilliant article and sounds like a really great guy. Very moving to hear how he speaks of Dolan, and interesting to see the positive view he had of Adkins and how things went downhill for the Academy graduates under Clarke.

Glad to see he's doing well and hope to see him back in the league soon. That really sounds like an absolute horror injury.

Agree, moving comments about Dolan.

For me, the most positive thing about Adkins was his enthusiasm for the Academy players. Wasn't sure that the senior players always bought into his ideas, but the young players clearly did.
