Watching the Real game. Really does have a friendly feel to it not helped by the fact they are playing home games at their reserve teams stadium.

Cooling breaks as well, which whilst sensible at 25C breaks up the game.

2-0 Real anyway.

Zidane's choice apparently. He reportedly told the club they would be more at home playing matches at (the small stadium in) their training ground than in an empty huge stadium so the club started construction work on the stadium so that it was their only choice and the Spanish FA had to approve it

only heard over the weekend about the Benfica coach (bus, not person) that had rocks and bricks thrown down on it from a motorway bridge a week or so ago. Glass smashed, 2 players with minor injuries from that (one of which was a German who was on the Dortmund coach when that was attacked).

No one arrested yet but suspicion is apparently that it was their own fans showing unhappiness with a performance

Amiens and Toulouse took Ligue 1 to court over them being relegated following the season being ended and the judge backed them on it so their relegation has now been suspended. It's an interesting case as it is based on the agreement clubs essentially enter into each season to go up and down after all games are complete, and so relegating them before the season is complete breaks that agreement. Ligue 1 now looking to possibly have a 22 team league next season.

Lyon not successful in court after finishing 5th, which is a Europe League qualifying place, but were then bumped down to 7th on PPG.
