URZZZZ
Zip
AthleticoSpizz Some say Holmes was motm material

That’s pushing it. He was rinsed a couple of times and put in a couple of poor crosses. Some decent crosses and one great defensive header too and looked good technically. By no means poor but not MoTM for me.

Yeah, can understand the inclusion for tough games like Watford and Boro but against Wycombe, where we’ve got to be looking to take the initiative, I think it’d be better to play a natural RB there

That being said, you can’t argue with two clean sheets in a row either, so will be a dilemma

As a side point, if he does bring in Esteves for Holmes, I hope he doesn’t have three CB’s on the bench again, don’t agree with having two CB’s on the bench, never mind three

There may well also be a certain amount of squad rotation (and that will apply to many clubs) given the number of games expected to be played in a short space of time.

Massive game tonight, don't underestimate the importance. Will see how far this team have come from a team, on paper we should put away comfortably. Extra incentive that if we score more than Bristol City we can go top and what a fillet going into the weekend.

Come on URZ.

Agree. If we are really going to contest at or near the top of the table then without being disrespectful, games like this we should be putting to bed, and not a nervy one nil, really put it to bed and bump up the GD

Think we’re in for a stuffing. 2-0, 3-0, possibly even 8-0.

If we lost 0-8 that would be embarrassing

You're totally right, but I expect one of three results.

A thumping 3-0 or 4-0 after an early goal for us, maybe they get a consolation goal late on (60% probability)

Attack against defence, their goalie has a worldy and we scrape home with a goal in the last 10 (30%)

THEY score early, we huff and puff, and puff and huff, scrape a late draw. (10%)

I can't make myself say 0-1

on FORM there is no debate but.this is football, and whenever we are locked on for a win, it seems we cock it up.

Having said that, this is Pauno, so maybe things will be different.

YES!

Momentum is MASSIVE in this league. WWWWDW as a start ought to really push us on. Then beat Rotherham, not lose at Blackburn, beat Coventry = seven wins, two draws in first 9 = 23 points and a great GD. We;'d be flying and morale hitting the roof.

I've always thought we were a team that would thrive on confidence, not like sides like Cardiff that can grind out results

Yes I know, it’s worked every time so far so please let me be and do my reverse jinx thing in piece.

Your good work has received quiet recognition in these quarters CR

Is that an HNA-ism like stundent, confimred and escapegoat that I've missed?

It kinda works i think. Though FILLIP is perhaps what was meant.

It would be fine. Just accept that it is inevitable. No need to be embarrassed if we don’t get our hopes up.

Trusting the back 4 that got us 2 clean sheets. I like it. I reckon Esteves will make his debut if we are leading in the second half.

Boro tried to stop Joao playing.

Might be nice, occasionally, to play a second striker
