Only guarantee is they’ll be watching some dire football being played

Pretty sure Pulis has frozen out Bannan before (at Palace), and he's certainly one of their better players and being honest, Bannan is hardly the sort of Pulis type player

Great, send him our way,

We haven't had a player like him for a while who is able to dictate the play from deep and succeeded. Evans didn't work, Guthrie didn't really work, Norwood was divisive

Most of our better midfielders are the energetic, athletic ones or holding ones

Reckon Bannon would work well with Rino.

He's bossed pretty much every game at the Madstad.

Agreed, always seems to be the best player on the park when we play them!

one of those who looks older than he is

Not really the type of player we've been going for in recent times - no doubts a big wage and on the way down rather than up and coming.

Thought he'd be at least 32 by now, seems to have been around ages.

He’ll be 31 in a few weeks so split the difference. But he was quite a prominent teenager so “feels” older. Same age as Theo Walcott.

Arjen Robben will always be that player for me.

Seemed to be around for ages, but was only 25 when he signed for Bayern. Is still only 36 now (37 in Jan).

Norwich and Bournemouth fill the top two places. I guess the cream has risen to the top, not to mention parachute payments. I will be very surprised if that changes between now and the end of the season.

2 good teams, and seem to enjoy a bit of luck along the way

Watched a bit of Bournemouth vs forest. They’ve peed all over them tbh, far better than they were vs us

Crazy that given the Norwich win we will still be top 6 even with a 5th straight defeat tomorrow night.
