Smith really isn't up to it.

McNulty has shown potential. If he was here he'd absolutely be worth a go, but as Hound says, by the time we could recall him we could be signing someone better, or almost have one of the injured strikers back.

Just on Shane Long, Saints still use him regularly as a sub particularly later on in games when defending a lead and wanting an out ball.

So may make the Luton game on 26 December, in which case this issue maybe more about Reading not wanting to rush him back and risk losing him for 3 months or so.

Can we not send these lads to the guy we sent Oliveira to? Back next week.

Edit: or.. cheeky bid for him in January?

Yep so he would miss the next two. Norwich and Brentford. Hopefully Swift available for Luton too.

VP said in Dellor's own interview that Joao would be out for 'the rest of this year' ( I distinctly remember it because Dellor bizarrely responded with 'the rest of this season?' to which VP patiently responded 'no until the end of this year'. So closer to three weeks if we're lucky.

Was Dellor referring to a private conversation with Paunovic after the interview?

I'm not local so can't get Radio Berks, so no idea what was said in the press conf, just read a tweet from Dellor referring to a convo afterwards

I guess there's only 5 days difference (from yesterday) between 2 weeks and end of the year....so potentially could also miss Luton and probs Swansea

Can you not get BBCRB on the BBC Sounds app for after the game? I know it doesn’t work for during the game but I always thought you could get the local radio wherever you live on digital radio?

Driving home after the Forest game we had radio reception for radio Berkshire for nearly the entire journey back to the Cotswolds.

Possibly but don't know why he would tell Dellor one thing on air and something different soon after, particularly if Dellor then tweets the content of that private conversation. I doubt he'll do it again if that was what happened!

Unusual. Mine normally cuts out some time before junction 15 for the A419.

I've found sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Suspect there is some human intervention that restarts the broadcast on sounds once the game is over, and maybe that human intervention isnt always the same time / person.

Apparently Tyrese Campbell is out for the season for Stoke. Huge player for them. Will be interesting to see if they keep the pace now.

Much stronger signal these days on the car radio-it used to disappear around Basingstoke on the way home.
