These things happen. When we went to Cardiff for the ODI England v South Africa it was barely raining for two hours but the umpires refused to start the game. Then it started raining heavily so by 1:30pm I said to my lads that we might as well go home. En route home and having just crossed over the Severn Bridge we heard on the radio play was about to start in Cardiff. So we turned around and went back over the Bridge for the second time that day and headed back to Cardiff. Before we even got there they were off for more rain and didn’t get back on again.

So my day off involved a lot of waiting at the ground, driving, paying the toll twice, parking, petrol etc and we didn’t see a single ball. Got refunded 90% of the tickets but still out of pocket for around £100.

Mate. It’s how it goes sometimes.

Yeh I know and I've had so many experiences like that with cricket I can't remember them all. You kind of expect it.

This is quite a bit different imo and of course they had to do something but having put all the effort in to get the tickets and spent thousands of pounds it's gutting to get nothing.

I don't want sympathy and these things do happen but it's still oxf*rd annoying.

Will you get a refund on flights, hotels etc? Or will you still go to the venues? ‘‘This should have been handled a lot better.

Had all England games so no other expenses.
Just the foreign money transaction fee and the disappointment of not going, after thinking we were.

It you log into the UEFA ticket portal you’ll see whether you’ve been successful in the ballot or not. Sadly I’ve been gubbed for both my matches.

They're still selling official hospitality packages for all games though, so that's nice :|

Have had an email saying my semi final tickets are being refunded, but nothing about the group stage, so hopefully that means I'm in. Tried logging into the ticketing portal but can't see anything, it's just asking me for bank info. Trying to figure out if Monzo can accept payments from abroad.

If you log back into portal it should say whether ticket allocated or ticket to be refunded. I had a friend who had ticket to be refunded on Monday night for England Croatia & within 24 hours it's reverted back to ticket allocated with no email so assuming he is ok for it.

Czech game is saying allocated, so hopefully that's the final decision!

Anyone know the split of tickets allocated for Wembley games?

Looks like England get around 3000
Opposition 2500/2700

What about the remaining 14000?
Can’t all be hospitality and officials? Or can it?!

Same as Champions League final. I am sure when it was at Wembley, the home and away teams got 15,000 each, the stadium holds 90,000...

They are bastards.

Would love to goto the Wales games, can't get a ticket. Mind you if Mepham starts I might just hide til the first round is over.

No Ramos and no Real Madrid players in the Spain squad

Also, HRK misses out on the Wales squad.

Bit surprised by HRK missing out, he looked sharp the other week against Liverpool. Wales are hardly blessed with attacking options.

The options such as they are would be the likes of Kieffer Moore, Rabbi Matondo and Tyler Roberts although Bale could perhaps also play there as we have Brooks, Dan James and Harry Wilson providing the width.

I don’t think HRK could expect to be involved having decided at an early age to retire from international football. It looks a bit opportunistic that he makes himself available once Wales qualified.

This is just the training squad with the likes of Dan James. Connor Roberts, and Ben Cabango to be included when the squad for the Euros is announced next Sunday. Plus with three coming in five of the 28 man training squad will be culled for 26 man Euro Finals squad.

For someone who'd had an extended absence from the Wales squad - to then breach squad protocols on the fixture set before the Euros was pretty damn stupid. Probably played somewhat of a part in the decision
