The length of time it took to get him off the pitch indicates its bleak. Can only hope for a miracle now.

By the way, whoever the director was for the coverage needs to be sacked immediately. Nobody needed to see that, ridiculous.

Zip
BR0B0T  reminds me of trying to resuscitate my Dad

if it takes that long it's usually not good!

Sickening and just hard to believe. Fingers crossed but it’s looking bleak.

They didn't seem long to take to take him out, thought it would have been longer. I know that stadium, there is a park outside, hope it's to get him on an air ambulance. The people around him though had very shocked expressions on their faces. As you say that's not good.

Not sure there was a need to keep showing the cameras zoomed on him.
Being positive at least he started receiving medical attention within seconds, that could be vital.

First thing that came to my mind. My dad stopped breathing for 20 minutes and survived.

It doesn't look good but Fabrice Muamba needed heart massage for 75 minutes. There's always hope.

An air ambulance to the hospital in Copenhagen when they are already in Copenhagen?

Every second counts, I guess
If it’s quicker than the ambulance, the do it

Photos of him awake on the stretcher as he was coming off the pitch have emerged.

What an effort from the medical team. Imagine the pressure, unreal work.

Apparently he was not unconsious and the hospital was right next to the stadium. Sounds more positive.

Wonder what they'll do with the game? Can't imagine Denmark or Finland will want to play after that

UEFA tweeted Following the medical emergency involving Denmark's player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.

The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised.

That's a lot better news than I was expecting.

By the way, whoever the director was for the coverage needs to be sacked immediately. Nobody needed to see that, ridiculous.

Yep - was obvious something catastrophic had happened straight away

Would also add those who posted the incident online - absolutely no need whatsoever

His wife or girlfriend in obvious distress needed to be filmed too apparently.... Idiotic.
